The ‘Silver Ghost’ (Eryngium giganteum) is a variation on what’s usually called ‘Miss Wilmott’s Ghost' – they both look like pale ghosts with spiky ruff collars. ‘Silver Ghost’ is larger, though, with unusual silvery-blue flowers and silver bracts. It keeps its silver colour longer than ‘Miss Wilmott’s Ghost’ and makes a stunning addition to a dried flower arrangement with its dangerous looking spikes and ethereal colour.
 
These ‘Grow Your Own’ kits differ from others on the market as they provide at least 2 opportunities to grow this unusual plant from seed. The kits contain more than one seed (sometimes 3 or 4) and 2 eco-friendly coir pellets as the medium for them to grow in. Place them in different areas and that’s 2 chances of germination!
